Marion Brand

Founder/CEO

Marion Brand, CNWI, is the founder of Australian Canine Scent Work (ACSW). She is also a Judge and Certifying Official for the sport of K9 Nose Work. Marion has had a lifelong love of dogs and for the last 15 years has shared her passion as an obedience trialling level instructor at the Hills Dog Club. Besides obedience she has also instructed in treibball, dock diving, herding, agility and rally o. Always interested in fun new activities, Marion knew she was on to something amazing when she first discovered K9 Nose Work.

Her love for K9 Nose Work was first ‘detected’ on a trip to USA and Canada in 2012 where she was originally ‘alerted’ to all the fun and benefits this search and detect activity and sport has to offer.

Marion was so impressed with it that she returned to the USA six times over the next 2 years to receive extensive training from the founders of the sport. She was the first Australian to be awarded her Certified Nose Work Instructors (CNWI) status.

Marion is thankful to have shared in the K9 Nose Work journey with Bravo (deceased), Echo (deceased), Delta (deceased), Moose and Charm.
